Little L Designs has served as a platform for Torey’s creative pursuits for more than a decade. Her shop showcases an array of wearable and décor items with an emphasis on embroidery and illustration. Torey’s fondness for functional, cute, handmade items has inspired her creations over the years. You can learn a lot about Torey just by perusing her creations - her love of books, dogs, and motherhood influences many of her designs, often mixed with color and sarcasm.
Torey’s artistic journey began with a very traditional art-school education that included fiber arts, graphic design, and art history. Over the years, she has worked in arts administration while continuing to develop her skills in typography, jewelry-making, and, of course, embroidery. She left the 9-5 world in 2021 to pursue her business full time and loves being a business owner.
Little L Designs was named after her daughter, Lila, who was just a baby when Torey opened the shop in 2011, and who now spends her spare time helping her mom at markets and in the studio.
I am thrilled about upcoming projects and eagerly anticipate hearing your input on commissioned pieces and adaptations of my existing designs.
